I'll be back in touch for the package we discussed shortly.

I'm wondering if you (or anyone else) could confirm that the Stoptech big brake kit will fit with BBS RG-R 17" x 7.5"? I'm pretty sure they will but will need to confirm before ordering.

Carl - That is good!! You can go to Stoptech's website then and download and print out a way to see how much room you will have for the calipers!! Go to www.stoptech.com and click on "Wheel Fitment Charts" at the bottom and then go from there. That will allow you to see how much clearance you will have before ordering. If that doesn't work then let me know but that is the best and fastest way to tell.

I hope that helps!!

Thanks,
Brian

I'll do that to confirm but do you know if the kit fits a STI? I believe my wheels are the exact same specs, including offset, as the standard BBS wheels on a STi.

You car is a 03 WRX right not an STi? But regardless this kit should fit with no problems. Those are the same specs as the wheels you would get from Subaru for the optional BBS wheels also so I know those will work.

Download and check with the diagram and let me know!!

Thanks,
Brian

Actually the BBS wheels that have been optional on the WRX are only 7" wide while the STi wheels and the BBS RG-R on my '03 WRX are 7.5" wide.

Do we know about the SSR Competition in 17" x 7.5" 50 offset? These are likely to be my track wheels but I don't own them yet. Anyone?

Carl - I see...well that guide should help you with those that you have and then the ones that you don't I am not sure of but you could call the company that makes them and ask them about a BBK upgrade because the ppl that make the wheels know if they will work with the BBK upgrades. Just a thought...

Let me know!!

Thanks,
Brian
