WRX towing question

So last nite I was apparently blocking somebody's driveway, so they called a towtruck on me. I heard a car alarm go off when I was chillin out my friend's place, and I run outside to see a flatbed about to tow my car.

Here's the question, the guy said he was using sliders on the front two wheels as he was dragging it onto the bed, is that ok for the transmission? I have a WRX '03 sedan. Thanks.

only if it wasn't in gear. Also they cannot tow away your car if you are presently there. But you will have to pay for the hookup and unhookup of your car. Is that what happened.? But yeah it doesn't hurt anything if the ebrake was up and it's not in gear.

A slow drag up a flat bed shouldn't hurt anything, even if the front wheels aren't on sliders, sounds like they took the proper precautions, you are lucky though often we hear about cars going onto hooks, which is most definetly the wrong way to tow a subaru
