windshield washers won't work

I pulled on the control and it wouldn't squirt. I had checked the fluid and it was half-way full and I also checked the fuse and it looked fine. I also changed it just incase and it still wouldn't work. any suggestions?

If you are just pulling on the lever that is only to take one swipe (or keep running till you let it go) it's that for when it's only lightly raining out or "Misting" If you want to wash the window I you have to push the button on the end of the stalk as per the owners manual...
