Window switch broken - any way to close the window manually?

On street parking, a few recent car breakins lately in the neighborhood, thunderstorms forecast for tonight... the perfect time and place for my drivers side window switch to stop functioning (only rolls down, not up)! Though I will get this to the dealer tomorrow, is there any way to manually roll up a 2002 WRX's window, without taking the door apart?

You can unscrew the switch, exposing the wiring. Unplug the harness from the switch itself. Then take a cordless drill battery and connect the battery up to the harness ... I dont know what wire #'s will do it, but 2 of them have to make it go up. We had to do it at work last week, good luck.

He posted this over a month ago, so I think we can assume he got it worked out by now.
