Warranty question

Would the dealership void my warranty if I changed my own oil?

No. As long as you maintain full documentation of when the service was performed and receipts for materials used, and can prove that you used lubricants and other materials that meet the manufacturer's requirements, you cannot be denied warranty coverage because you did not have the car serviced at the dealer.
