Used 04 or new 05?

Hi everyone,

I test drove an 04 STi yesterday and was blown away. The question is whether there is a significant difference between the 04 and the 05? Is it really worth the very significant price difference between a used 04 and a new 05? Thanks in advance for all your advice.

if you price everything extra on the 05 that the 04 doesn't have... then yes its worth it. the rims, the 6 disc changer, speakers, floor mats, slightly better stitched seats(front). but if you are one of those guys that doesn't keep a car stock... i say go with an 04... huge savings. especially since there are not any incentives for the 05's. <----- sounds funny to speak of an 05 in august of 04...

thanks for the advice guys. since im considering modding the car somewhat extensively, i think the 04 is probably still the best choice. thanks again!
