Transmission Warranty!!?

Kinda funny that SOA and Subaru of Santa Cruz didn't ask one question when I brought my tranny in for servicing. Stuck syncro. Wonder if it has anything to do with me not abusing my car? hmm.
I had my synchro gears replaced under warranty by Subaru, but my car is nearly all stock, i.e. stock turbo, strut/sway bars added to stock suspension, etc. If this was a serious post, I have a feeling you're not going to get your car fixed for free. I don't mean to be a downer, but you built your car into a RACE car for the purpose of RACING and it will never be the same again. When people built up a Vette engine to 8 liters, Chevy won't warranty their car. That's why only folks with a large, steady income do that sort of stuff. Good luck just the same

FWIW I had no mods on my old '02 WRX, had tranny probs, tranny rebuilt twice under warranty, still felt like garbage...

ok, way to argue for no reason, we all no wrx tranny is a piece of ****.....don't have to be a dick......ill laugh if your tranny goes and you are in the same position. Subaru should put a better tranny, its an awd rally car and it has weaker transmission than a civic......

What if i put all the stock stuff back on? I take it back will the warranty or will they know? How do they know if it is due to manufacture defect or do to hp gains? If there is no evidence of modified parts how can the conclude that they will not warranty it?
I used to have a stage 4 fmic turbo xs vf30.

It's not a matter of whether or not you get caught. It's a matter of the fact that you ruin it for the rest of us. The more people that try and get SOA to fix something they broke with aftermarket parts, the fewer of those that have legitimate claims on STOCK cars will actually have it covered. Not trying to be a d1ck, but it's people like you that made subaru give me such a rediculously hard time with my claim on my stock car. You play, you pay. The end.
