I wish I could find a decent dealer. The service department I've started using recently is ok, but they are still a pain to take the car to. I took the car in for warranty repair for a knocking noise and they made me authorize an $89.99 charge just in case the car wasn't covered under warranty because "a lot of people have modified the car and we don't know what's under the hood". Funny though, me, the 22yr old guy with the yellow WRX and spikey hair got the lecture about modified cars, while the guy next to me who had a black WRX, was probably mid 30s and had an older guys hair cut didn't get any types of lecture like that.

Wierd. I got pissed though and before I signed it I told them I didn't appreciate being profiled, under my hood is all Subaru.

 

Nope, Maita. Ironically, the problem ended up being an improper repair performed by Subaru following my unfortunate accident in August

s'okay, the insurance company is handling the costs. I am unhappy it wasn't legitimate warranty service just so i coulda rubbed it in their faces. I HATE being profiled for the way I look or my age.
