What's the cost on the '02?

I would say go for the '03. It's got a bit of warranty left, so after you buy you could have them go over the car and fix whatever is broken

Plus, starting with 30k miles is preferrable, IMO to starting with 90k.

I don't think either year is "easier" to mod. If you get the '02 it could have the "clutch shudder" problem - most '03s (the later models anyway) had it fixed off the assembly line. Ummm..good luck with whichever The WRX is an awesome car.

Go for the '03. It has less miles, and the '03 probably has lots of minor improvements over the '02.

ehh..I'd definitely get the '03.

I'm not sure of all the difference between '02 and '03. The main one I know if is daytime running lights.

I think the '03 has a better clutch.

I test drove an '03 WRX in yellow. They wanted $23,000 for the '03 that has 120miles on it , and $25,000 for the '04 that still has the plastic on it. WTF?

ask em why aren't the incentives better on the 03? 120 miles? thats at least 8-9 test drives. SOA has much better incentives that what we have here.SOJ so go fugure---offer them(if anything) 22500 OTD and see what they say- if they say... maybe... then you kow they have more room. it depends on the dealer though. keep in mind that operating costs are not the same at every dealer(location/overhead costs etc...)
