how do you scam through escrow? go in person to buy the car

 

I had a similar experiance just last week that was almost exactly like this. I was on Autotrader.com. Found a 1994 Toyota Supra for $6000....Yes 6k. The guy told me that he had moved to Germany and needed to get rid of the car. The deal was that he wanted me to send him the cash first, then he would fly back to the states, take care of the paperwork and then even ship the car to me. All for $6,000. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. I told him to lick my *****. Like someone would really do all that and sell me a 30,000 dollar car for 6k. People are getting rediculous these days. Make sure you guys are doing your homework before you give cash to anyone.....You can't trust anyone anymore, hell you can't even trust your own ***, you thought you had to fart and you end up ****ting yourself!

 

I had the same type of thing with an STi. it was 04 and only 6K like the one above. he said the same type of thing that he moved to some other country ( i think germany too) and needed money so had to get rid of car fast blah blah. clearly a STi for 6k should be red flag but he said same thing about escrow. like someone else said, if it sounds too good to be true...
