Saab to Subaru?
Hello everyone. Great site and forum! Here's my issue. I currently own a 2000 Saab 95 (2.3L turbo) and my lease is up in April 2004.
I REALLY think the WRX is an awesome car, and I've ALWAYS wanted an AWD vehicle. Don't know if any of you are familar with the Saab 95 but it is a pretty quick car with a very nice interior. Actually, it's my 3rd Saab (i've had 900's prior to that).
The ONLY thing that I'm struggling with is the differences in comforts between the Saab and the Suby. I just don't know if I'd love the ergonomics of the Suby day in and day out. I drive about 16,000 miles a year and LOVE driving my Saab.
I know the WRX would leave a S--T eating grin on my face for the pure performance aspects, no doubt. But have any others made a transition from a more "luxury" car to the WRX?
I know it's like apples and oranges but I'm really close to making a move!

You may want to wait and see what the legacy is priced at when it makes it's US debut next year. It may have more of the interior refinements that you are accustomed to in your Saab. As minimay7 alluded... there are a bunch of threads on this site from people just like yourself who are looking into switching to a Subaru. Me included. :-)

Definately wait for the new legacy as it will have a 250hp Turbo engine and the luxury you are acustomed to for less than the cost of a 9-5 Aero.
