s2000/996TT owner buying sti, help
I need a winter car and have settled on an sti, i found one here in columbus ohio for 34,290 sticker, they lowered it to 33.600 without any significant negotiation. I was looking at edmunds and was hoping that i could get them down about 2200. what do you guys think about 32,000 plus ttl. I am planning on utilizing the 1.9% rate available.
I want to debadge and make it look like a plain wrx, i have read about removing the decklid but how do the stickers come off. Also where do I purchase a complete rs/wrx trunklid/decklid.

to make it look like a plain wrx you have a couple options.
1. buy a carbon fiber rear trunk and paint it whatever color
2. trade trunks with a wrx/rs owner(loose sti trunk though)
3. buy a new trunk straight from the factory, might be pricy though.
to debadge the trunk take a heat gun to each letter and slip a piece of fishing line or floss behind it to get it off. wipe down with goo gone, and then wax.

thanks, i think i will shoot for around 32K, how about the cleat vinyl PINK sti stickers, are these hard to get off??
I am in PCA, MidOhio region, i will probably do some driving schools and bring both cars, it would be great to blow away a regular carrera with my sti
