I bought my car used from a non-subaru dealer. They told me that all original warranties were terminated and that I'd only be covered under the used car warranty (90days/4000miles)..
It's been well over 90days/4000miles now.
I've been hearing somewhere that warranties transfer over even though the car's purchased used.

Is this true????? b/c I have a couple of things that I'd liked to get maintenanced which also doesn't fit my buget.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

 

If the car is still in the warranty period, you should be able to get whatever repaired under warranty. Isn't the same as buying your car from one dealer and going to another dealer to get your repairs done? I say just try the closest dealer in your area and see if it'll be fixed.

Your WRX has a 5 year, 60,000 mile powertrain warranty and 3 year, 36,000 basic warranty from the original date of purchase. As long as you take it to a Subaru dealer, your warranty is in full effect.
