If your gonna go on the track you should be running low psi aroung 25 or so this way you get better trackion. BUt if your just driving around then i say around 32-36 psi. BUT if your gonna go drifting i say around 40!!!

i use front 36 back 34, remember its heavier in the front with ur engine...and long trips i use about 38 -36

just my preference

Seriously though.. as long as your "in the ballpark" on pressures (it should give recommendations in both the owners manual and on one of the door jams.

Tire pressures can greatly impact handling. Playing with pressures in a controlled environment like autocross or Drivers Ed, can show you. You can make the car often make the car understeer or oversteer "more" depending upon pressures.

You could also check out a site like the Tirerack.com - they might be able to help you out!
