Talk to the dealership and see if you could get a new one or something. They may not want to, but might be willing to work with you more because of all these extreme circumstances. I am at 8200 miles and knock on wood, havent had a problem yet.

can anyone name any makes of automobile that never suffer from a deffect? that's why there are waranties. do not get down on the car yet, give the dealer another short at fixing the leak. in the books that come with the car there should be info on who to contact at subaru for resolving problems. might want to call them and have a case opened for your car.
no i know, its just real upsetting the i am having all these problems. i am begining to feel that my car is spending more time being fixed than i am driving it.

Thumbs up

hey everyone...

good news, it turned out not to be anything serious. what happened was when they were putting the new short block assembly in they forgot to tighten a hose clamp of some sort and that's what was causing the coolant leak. they were very sorry and apologized many times.

hopefully knock on wood, no more serious problems.
