Talk to the dealership and see if you could get a new one or something. They may not want to, but might be willing to work with you more because of all these extreme circumstances. I am at 8200 miles and knock on wood, havent had a problem yet.

in all fairness to subaru you have had only 2 warranty problems that subaru is responsible for. being rear ended is only the fault of the distracted driver that hit you. the disk player was replaced and that took care of that problem. the short block was replaced and mechanic did not tighten a coolant hose clamp or some thing like that. did you take it back to the dealer? give them a chance to correct the leak. i do not think you have a lemon. 2 problems of a totaly different nature does not make a car a lemon. if they do not fix the leak in 2 more tries you may be able seek relief under the lemon laws.
can anyone name any makes of automobile that never suffer from a deffect?
that's why there are waranties. do not get down on the car yet, give the dealer another short at fixing the leak. in the books that come with the car there should be info on who to contact at subaru for resolving problems. might want to call them and have a case opened for your car.

forget the hit in the rear end. it's not subarus fault. the cd player was replaced problem resolved. the oil leak, probably not related to the cd player, was resolved by changing the short block. the coolant leak is probably a clamp that is not tight. give the dealer the chance to fix the leak if he does not fix it then you may be able to seek remedy under the lemon laws.
name 1 make of automobiles that does not have any manufacturing defacts.
you may also want to look into the owners books that came with the car they will tell you how to go about contacting subaru for remedy of un resolved problems.
subaru makes good cars give them a chance.

hey everyone...
good news, it turned out not to be anything serious. what happened was when they were putting the new short block assembly in they forgot to tighten a hose clamp of some sort and that's what was causing the coolant leak. they were very sorry and apologized many times.
hopefully knock on wood, no more serious problems.
