Oil - alternatives to 1 qt bottles?
Oil - alternatives to 1 qt bottles?
Does anyone sell oil in 1 gallon (or 5 litre) containers rather than a case full of quarts?
Its kinda annoying (and not very eco-friendly) to use lots of small bottles. Back in England, the 5 litre bottle (1 gallon) was the norm. Quart bottles were just used for topping up.

Here in the US, it's all about choice and everything is bigger. I know a couple of farmers who buy engine oils packaged in 40 or 50 gallon drums. The savings at this quantity are significant and the container may be re-used or recycled. A small hand or electric-powered pump is also required. Look up oil distribution or lubrication companies in your phone book.
