I brought my 05 sti to Subaru in the beggining of march because it wouldnt go into first gear, so after a month and a half of them having my car they replaced first gear, and first gear syncro. They called me last week and said that the car was ready, but they are waiting for a reverse switch to come in. So a week later they said it ready to be picked up. I was happier than a pig in sh*t until i put it in reverse and it grinded and my reverse lights will not work?! Is i possible they didnt put the switch in?! The grinding doesnt happen if i put the clutch all the way to the floor. I wanna bring it back but i dont wanna lose my car again for a month and a half! My question is... is the reverse switch easy to put in my self id hate to bring cuz its almost 2 hours away and I dont wanna give up the car again for that long. any ideas
