Need advice on WRX '02 Purchase
I'm currently looking at several dealers to buy an '02 WRX Sedan. I've found one listed at $17,700 at a dealer; which I have talked him down to the 16k mark. The car looks great, and the dealer said there's no problems with the car. It has 42k miles on it and comes with the standard options. Should I continue shopping for a better deal or does this seem like a decent price?
Hey, good luck on gettin a WRX you're gonna love it.
I picked up my '02 WRX with 18,600 miles for about $16,000.
The blue book on a '02 WRX with 42k on it has got to be less than $16,000.
Anyways,
Have fun with your WRX when you get it

not sure where you live- that would help me to give you better advice.
one thing that pops in my head is service records .
make sure there are some.(and look at them)
depending on your area, i know that you can get the price down.
and please , run a carfax.
i sell subies out in hawaii- the biggest mistake i see(and refuse to let continue) is to see customers buy cars without using every exaustible resource(s) for buying the car they want. because its your money my advice is to get as much info as possible about the car before signing the papers. if you can't get enough i say go buy from another dealership.
on a positive note i have 41,000 miles on my wrx wagon(MY03) and my car still rocks!(actually the wifes, i drive the STi)
if u need more advice don't hesitae to pm me...
hope that helps.
