Leak in valve cover seal

I had my oil changed in my '05 WRX (23K miles) at a local shop that specializes in Subarus. The technician said that he found a small leak in the valve cover seal on the driver's side of the engine. He said it wasn't a big deal because just a bit of oil was leaking, but that I should have it checked out while the car is under warranty.

Question - has anyone else had this problem? Is it at least somewhat common for WRXs? I'm hoping this is just a speed bump and not a sign of future problems with the engine. My '03 never had any problems.

This is a very common problem, especially on the passenger side.

Yup, not a sign of a problem, just a sign of maintenance required. Do the plugs at the same time.
