HELP! Watersprayer freezing in the winter?

So I just got an 05 sti, and basically the temp gets below freezing well not yet but pretty soon what do i do about the water sprayer? has anyone with an 04 had any problems with it freezing or anything do I need to drain the whole thing? Doesn't a light come on if it's empty?

That's a good question!

I live in Hawaii but may someday move back up to the mainland. When I move, I'm buying an STi.

I would think that you could mix in some antifreeze or something right? Antifreeze wouldn't corrode your I/C yeah? Plus, your computer probably wouldn't spray your I/C during the winter anyway.

Shouldn't your dealer have the correct warranty related answer? Let us know!

I use winshield washer fluid in the winter time, I know it's not the best idea but it keeps it from freezing.

In that case...I'd empty it all out and possible cycle some anti freeze or windshield fluid just to make sure that whatever is left isn't going to freeze inside the water pump and hose leading to the front.

Thanks Guy, Some have said Alcohol would work too, The manual does say half full - It still hasn't gotten below freezing yet - but i'm not sure i think i might put like 10% anti-freeze (not spraying) and drain it in the spring. I just dont want any discoloration on my sti intercooler ;-)
