has anyone bought a WRX used?
i started off with a 95 saturn sc1, that i learned stick in. fwd 80whp glory!
89 325i 4door 5spd was my baby but dad said it had to go, no airbags.
now i'm touring in a 91 535i 5spd, its a bit heavy, but i like the car.
a friend recently let me drive his newly bought used wrx, i loved it,
very quick and new and tight, unlike my car where the steering gearbox is a little loose and the shifter is sloppy.
now just as i was hesitant in buying a used ///M car, i'm hesitant
buying a used turbo car. i know you have to cool down the turbo, and modifying the boost is fairly easy to disguise, so my question is really, how good are these cars used? of course i want a nice cheap one, so the older the better, but of course, first year cars have problems...any particular years/mileage i should look for?
and how does one combat the stock turbo's lag?
last ques, i always though it was scoobie
thanks!
