I'm looking to buy a new 04 or 05 wrx, and I'm wondering if anybody has bought one recently. If so, how much did you pay? The wrx is a little out of my price range, but if anyone has gotten a pretty good deal on it, I'm willing to pay the extra. Also, any other suggestions for another car within the general price range? Thanks.

 

It really depends on where you are. In New England, 05's are selling below invoice- generally between 21-22K for a new base 5-speed WRX. I'm not sure about the west coast, but from what I've heard on here and NASIOC, it's higher out there. There's not really any point in getting an 04 right now, if you can even find one, it won't be much cheaper than 05.
