hard starting when cold.....

hard starting when cold.....

bought the car had it for 2 months .. 3500 miles so far but in the morning when i go out to start the car, if it was cold out the night before or it is cold in the morning the car takes about 5 minutes to start. today my wife said it took her 20 minutes to get it started coming home from work. anyone having this problem too?

03 wrx, ej20 cat back and bov. it was doing this even when it was stock.

Does the engine crank normally and not fire, crank very slowly, or not at all?

it tries to turn over but it wont... took it to the dealer today and they "think" its a temp sensor..... we'll see.

Did you try cleaning/tightening the battery terminals?

you didnt state previous that it was a cranking problem.a temp sensor is not the problem.this should be a easy fix ,but testing is needed.if all the basic,starter,battery,connections check good.trust me and have them replace the main relay.please advise your dealer that it is a no crank problem and not as you described that it takes 5-20 minutes to start.big difference with both descriptions
