Talking Going to look at a couple WRX's today

Hello everyone. I signed up here a while ago, but now it finally looks like I'm getting closer to owning a WRX.

There are 2 that I'm going to look at today.

1. 2003 Sonic Yellow WRX - 21,448k miles. asking price is $18,990

2. 2004 Blue WRX - 6,000k miles. asking price is $21,000

I never see any yellow subies around my area so Im leaning towards the 03. Plus I can probably get better financing on it than a new/newer one.

Hopefully I will be coming home with good news later!

If anyone has opinions/advice, please feel free to add anything!

prices VERY high

those prices are pretty high. You can get a new 2005 for under 22K. There's No way you should be paying that kind of money for an 04. The yellow is a rarer color, so it might command a bit more, and if you really like it, go for it, but still... a few minutes of decent effort should yield several nice WRX's in that range here and/or NASIOC for somewhere in the 16's as long as you're flexible on color.

financing

OH, and you can almost always get better financing on new than used.... Who told you the other way?

location...

Kingstown RI.
visit: www.nasioc.com.
Go to the for sale section.
or try www.autotrader.com
I bought my 03 for $16,700. Granted, that was wholesale, but that was also close to a year ago.... They're out there, you just have to find them.
