Gas tank hard to fill.........

I'll start off by letting you guys know I've done a search for this problem all over the place and haven't found anyone with this specific issue so I'm wondering what I should do. I have an 05 WRX, had it for a little over a year now and for the past few months my gas tank is a pain in the a** to fill. Its almost like suddenly the filler neck got block magically, as this problem did not exist until just these past few months. So.......if anyone has had this problem or has any tests I can do to determine what the problem is on my own that would be appreciated greatly as my car is modified.

just to clarify a bit, the autofill on the pump shuts down every half a gallon forcing me to hold the trigger and constantly resart the process.....very f'n frustrating!!!

Cool

One of the vent tubes may be clogged. I've heard of spiders making nests in there sometimes.

I think if you burn the egg sacks it'll solve the problem

sadly needed disclaimer: please do not try to burn spiders in your gas tank filler neck. TIA.
