engine running & stalls, voltage drops to 0 (was: What is happening with my car?)
Well people! my 2002 Impreza WRX is reaching 5 years old., never got a problem during those years but now my car is experiencing a problem that is going me crazy.I turn ON my car and after few minutes turn off.Sometimes is difficult to turn ON the engine there's no check engine light on display.
The fuel pump can be heard loading every time i turn the key in ON position.
Did anybody experience this problem before.
I check the voltage of the fuel pump .,when the car is ON,12.7 volts can be seen on display and after 30 seconds the voltage drop to 8 vdc few minutes more the car turn off and the voltage drop to zero.

That's not really enough information to go on. If you're checking the voltage at the pump itself it won't tell you much (although zero volts is not good) because the pump does not get direct battery voltage. There is an electronic controller that regulates the pump.
Check the voltage right at the battery. It should read about 12.5 with the key off and nothing turned on, and 13.5-14.5 with the engine running. A low key-off reading indicates a weak battery, a low reading with the engine running indicates a possible alternator problem. If the alternator is bad the battery may need to be replaced as well since it may have been damaged from the heavy drain.

It sounds like you have a boost leak. You can do a test or you can start by checking the vacuum hoses for cracks, but the leak might not be visible.
also make sure the hoses are well connected and the clamps are tight.
