You will get 100 different answers, most of which will not be based on any factual evidence other than "I've always ran this oil and never had any problems."

After reading over 100 oil threads on nabisco, I decided to do some UOAs and make my own decision. I currently run Mobil 1 10W-40. When I hit 3k, I will sample, then fill with Shell Rotella T 5W-40 synthetic (no cats on my car). Depending on how that UOA compares to M1, I may or may not test out GC in my car (0W-30), or even Eneos 0W-50 (which intrigues me).

I have seen some UOAs that STRONGLY point towards Rotella T synthetic being superior to M1, but I would like to see how my engine responds to it before giving it any kind of endorsement.
