I have a 02 WRX with 25K miles, everything factory, no mods. Lately it has been developing a clicking noise during gear shift (clutch release), and releasing of gas paddle as 3K rpm in 1st and 2nd gear. I took it to my local dealer to have it checked, and they told me the drive shaft and the rear differentials are bad, and replaced them. But after I tried it for a week, the noise is still there(but better than before), so I tool it back again. The techs looked at it, and now this time they say it is the drive axle. They are now ordering parts, but luckily this is all under warranty work. Do any of you guys had a similar problem?
