Depreciation on WRX et STI

According to Edmunds.com, the 1st year depreciation on a STI is $8K and the WRX is $5K.

mind boggling

I saw an STI on EBAy with 24000 mile for $22,000. It is a 2 owner car. if it was a one owner I would consider it. sucks 2grand for a brake job and a 8grand loss in 1 year!

did you see it actually sell for that much or was it just at that price at the time being? because i have never seen an STi sell for less than at least 26k

Those numbers come from Edmunds.com.
Check their "True Cost to Own" numbers for the STI and WRX.

I am looking at a STi with 5k miles for $26700. Trying to decide between that and $30000. for a new one.

here in hawaii we use kbb. all the banks use it. all the insurance companies use it. for tax write offs also... my 03 wagon kbb value is anywhere from 17-23k!!! maybe the market in your area is bad...
