also if i go to try to get it fixed will they still do it? because i have a downpipe on and doesnt that void the warranty? please someone let me know before i go to the dealer...

 

From what I understand, if you have drive by wire, anytime you get a CEL the CC be disabled and flash.

the whole recall involves just putting the little clip on the throttle linkage wheel over the cruise control cable. it takes like 1 minute to have done, and mostly because you have to pull the engine cover off (on the 3.0). I've done a couple of these...pretty somple (I'm a Subaru technician)
