The instruction on what to do if the problem occurs while driving seem to me to be rather dumb. If the throttle is going to stick wide open it seems to me that the thing to do is kill the ignition and get off the road ASAP. Yes, power steering and p/brakes will be affected, but the car can still be controlled. I plan to have my clutch problem fixed at the same time (no need to do things twice).

it is not just the cruise control... it can engage even when you are not using the actual function. if you got the letter try and get your car fixed ASAP (gdogg, i know you work on a lot so you prolly dont need to worry about it )

taking mine in this friday to have the cruise control problem fixed....i heard it was just a clip that they have to slip on or something, yet the ppl at the service department said i'd have to leave my car there (from 9am-4pm) to get it fixed???? Plus i made an appointment 2 weeks ahead of time...Grrrrrrr....plus my car is fairly modded, hope they don't give me the 3rd DegRee.....

I had mine done while they were doing some other work. My dealer did my friends OB while he waited, took 10 min to do:
