Red face Considering : 00' 2.5RS w/ 85K Miles

I'm looking to trade a Civic that I bought two weeks ago for this car I described above. My car has only 40,000 miles so this car scares me, as much as I want it. It's got a new water pump and timing belt, but I think it's an original clutch. What do clutches go to on these cars? My Integra went to 160,000 before I replaced it, but I don't know how this car was driven. That's my one concern about buying this car, can anyone shed some light on this for me? Also, is there anything else I should look for before pI make a commitment? I'm going to test drive it tomorrow, any ASAP advice is greatly appreciated.

Wait, which car has the new timing belt and clutch or something? Are you talking about the Civic or the Impreza?

The impreza has the new timing belt and water pump. The clutch is original. I'm concerned about the clutch.

The 2.5 should last you a long time, but 85k is a grip of miles. I would keep looking.

edit: wait. you're going to trade a Civic with 40,000 miles for an Impreza with questionable history that has 85,000 miles? I'd think this one through a little more.

It's probably not actually the original clutch on the RS. It probably had the clutch judder TSB work done at some point, probably last year. Also, that many miles have to be the result of freeway commuting, which isn't hard on the drivetrain.
