FS: 06 Forester XT 5MT 85k asking 12k OBO
FS: 06 Forester XT 5MT 85k asking 12k OBO
Here is the deal. I just moved to San Jose and brought along my XT. I really should have done the research to figure out that a visual inspection is required for smog and there is no way I would pass with a catless UP/DP/Exhaust.
Now that im here i don't have the time or space to swap the stock stuff back in.
Im considering 2 options:
-having a shop convert the car back to stock, smogging, and selling
-selling the car as is to someone that wants to save a bit by doing the work themselves
Details:
AccessPORT V2
Catless UP/DP/Exhaust (Stock included, will need gaskets)
17x9 Rota Grid-V + Ventus v12 evo
WRX struts (stock struts included)
Weathertech mats (stock mats included)
Wooden/Aluminum roof rack
07 sport headlights + taillights + honeycomb grill
It will need to be re-tuned to run well on 91 octane. Currently it runs but does not like high boost with the timing pulled back.
PM me with an offer if you are interested.
Will trade for a KTM 690 SMC + cash.

That's a pretty good price considering the mileage. How's the maintenance history?
Just for reference... in order to sell it you'll have to smog it. My advice... throw the stock exhaust on it and run an OTB cobb tune. Get it smogged. Included the catless parts with the sale.

I don't have time or space to swap the exhaust so I will probably get a shop to do it. Just seeing if there is any interest first. No maintenance history before the last 2 years, Ive only put about 7k miles on it.

I'm sure you'll get interest. But in CA you have to have it smogged within 90 days of sale. Won't smog the way it is right now.
You should be able to do that exhaust swap in a parking swap. If you bring enough beer just come out to the Tuesday night meet. LOL! Or a bottle of Sailor Jerry.
