car smoked, subaru aint doin' a thing

Well the Subaru rep just opened the hood and saw my "Boost modifying pop-off valve" and said Subaru isn't going to warranty it. He also thinks that cause my car smokes only at idle that I have a blown piston and that I will have to buy a whole new long block from subaru and pay for it all myself.

Bov will not void your warranty...tell your subaru rep to stuff a sock in it. I asked my rep before i put it on, and i emailed subaru as well, just so I have something in writing
