The 5 speed transmission will feel a bit notchy. And if you do get a Suby... Please drive safely. If i had this car when I got my license I would of got myself into alot of trouble.

in terms of problems there literally minimal problems regarding this car. numerous magazine articles has confirmed this. there are also several mags that have tested this car for 30k plus. . . and had vitually no problems. the shudder/vibration you may be describing may be in realation to the fact that boxer type engines to vibrate more heavily @ idle. once the rpms rise the vibrations cease. its a good thing in my opinion when i see younger drivers getting subarus. i would much rather have my child driving taht over any honda anyday.

your insurance should cover the car, but I am not sure if they would cover ALL of the mods. there is probably a penumbra in so far as what is covered and what is not depending on your insurance co
be very careful driving this car. i dont want to sound like your parent but i am almost 30 and i still want to get crazy sometimes.

well, anyways its true that sometimes u just wanna tear it up) try looking the car up at websites... and when u are ready to buy be sure that u run the cars vin on carfax. . . if u really wanna enjoy the car see if there are any driving schools- not the basic ones but the racing ones...
