brake pad warranty

brake pad warranty

when i need new pads, which i will very soon and i have a few mods on my scoob, tbe, uppipe , intake , header, turbo timer. should i take all of my **** off before i go in or should i try to get new pads with all my mods on my car.

i work at a dealership in hawaii. our service manager is cool. a service department will void your warranty is if they have a bill that they know they won't be reimbursed for- from SOA because of evidence of "abuse".

for something as routine as brake pads i suggest you be very careful- if they want to be prickish about it they can. i say call and ask(be as stealth about it as possible) then decide if you have to put your stockers back on.

or better yet- buy pads and organize an install day at your house.

Yeah, pads are SO cheap there's no need to try for warranty replacement. You can get pads that are far better than stock for like $40. Install, even for a car dummy like me is a breeze (I've done it before).

If you're upgrading the go, upgrade the stop too
