Base price of Imprezas raised

I just happened to be on Subaru's web site and I noticed that the base price of all the imprezas have been raised a couple hundred.

The 2.5TS for example used to be 17,800, now its 18,020

No features were added as standard equipment either.

Maybe it's because of the $$ losing ground to the japanese yen.

or because the price elasticy of demand for a subaru has changed and the buying market doesn't care about a price change of this magnitude to alter sales in a harmul manner.

sounds about right. I would think that they would be raising the price pretty soon anyway. there is alot more demand for the car now than there was later so people will buy it even though they raised the price now.
