Raised stock spoiler

I have seen many of these around. I am not so sure if they are just stock spoilers with a spacer (painted) underneath it to give it height. Neverthelsss, i like the way it looks. does anyone have this done and if so, how did you go about doing so?

Well, the one you saw which is higher than the stock is the STI VERSION rear spoiler.

ZeroSports made the original carbon fiber raisers, this was 2 legs for the stock wing
then Subaru copied it and used it on WRX NB-R (not STi)
and in the STi 'limited'.
This was not carbon fiber and it was painted in body color. It was one piece thing and center portion was connecting the legs.

I found these pics of the carbon fiber wing risers:

I just found out the stock spoiler is pretty useless due to all the turbulence there is coming down off the rear window. Raising the spoiler gets you out of the turbulence and makes the spoiler more effective. At least that's how I read it. Anyone got any better pictures of these spacers? Anyone know if they're available in something other than carbon fiber?

Question

I'm about to install the CF Wing Risers on my 02 WRX. I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out what type of socket I need to unbolt the OEM wing from the trunk. Looks like a "DEEP" socket is in order, the OEM wing bolt that is closest to the taillights is LONG.

Any ideas?

Thanx
