Another "What's it worth" ?

Sorry if this is not the correct area but...and sorry that I don't have any pics, but I am looking for addtional feedback about used car prices.

Car:

2004 Subaru WRX Wagon
5spd Manual
Black on Black
A few "options" -
Armrest extension
Auto dimming mirror w/compass
Roof rack and Rub strips
Subwoofer
Cargo net, tray and cover

34,000 miles. All receipts. All maintenance performed by dealer. Original owner. Bought in July '03. Paint is good except somehow I got some scratches on the hood scoop (maybe the neighbors cat??). I need to see if they can be "buffed out" or not. Otherwise it looks great to me!

Thought on used value? (Yes I have checked out KBB and some others, but I'm wondering what others think. Afterall, they say my other car is worth "x" but I think its worth "Y"...)

If you think the region you live in would affect price, please mention so. I am currently in the Washington DC area.

Thanks!

In CA (which probably doesn't help) your trade-in value would be 13-14.

Retail value would be 16-18.

area

area matters quite a bit. Subies are pretty popular in high snow areas, and the west coast, but in Mississippi for example, there's less demand.

My guess would be 14's for trade, and high 16's to 17's private party, depending on how motivated the buyer/seller is, and stuff like tires, maintence history, etc. Dealer retail on a car like that is 18's.
