Are aftermarket clutches better than stock?

I have a 2000 Legacy GT, and I think the clutch is going out. I haven't had a mechanic look at it yet, but the rpm's hold (clutch spins) if I shift hard or pound the accelerator (which is often). It's holding for now if I drive like a granny, but my question is this: What benefits do aftermarket clutches have over stock? Do I really need to shell out extra money for one if I drive normal? I'll be honest, I drive my car hard (ie fast shifting, pounding the throttle) so if an aftermarket clutch will wear longer or help the shifting a bit, it might be worth it.
And if so, where is a good website with soob parts/clutches I can check out? Cobb tuning is the only one I know and quite frankly, I don't feel like shelling out 500 bucks for a clutch that for all I know, just says "Cobb" on it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. since the clutch will be coming out, would I save a bit on labor if I just go for a lightweight flywheel while i'm at it?

Dont know much about the Legacy but the WRX clutch is just right as it will not stress the drive train and break something like a aftermarket one might. plus some aftermarket companys still use the OEM clutch but upgrade the pressure plate. Always replace those bearings while you have it apart. I'm not a big fan of lightweight flywheels as the car is not a high rpm car such as something like a honda reving to 9K. Though a resurfacing of the flywheel may be needed. Think of it as turning the rotars. You will get a better breakin and clutch hold.
