Accessport: Necessary to unmarry when going back to dealership?

Like the title says, "Is it really necessary to revert to stock when bringing in the car to the dealership?" No matter what the dealership would still know if I had tampered with the ecu because the numbers on the ecu would change. Should I not worry about it and leave the stage 2 base map on the ecu and hope they don't see it. When do dealerships ever check the ecu anyways?

We literally check every vehicle at the dealership to run codes and check everything before we touch it. But it really depends on the tech and if chooses to say some. If there is catastrophic damage it may be and probably will be an issue since they are hip to this especially in cars that are extremely popular with the tuning crowd
