accessport multiple flashing??

ok i have an idea on how to flash multiple vehicles with the accessport. me and my friend were thinking, he has the accessport flashed on his car at stage2. and we plugged it into my car (stock ecu) and it read as my vehicle having stage2. if i flash my wrx (we both 02's) to stage 1 do u guys think it would take? or possibly fry my ecu?? i just wanna if anyone heard about this and is it safe to do? since the accesport is married to a car with stage2, when plugged in it still think its stage 2, and should allow to flash to any other stage besides the staged that is flashed. it seems sensible to me, but i just wanna know if anyone knows about this or has head about it. any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated. thanks everyone

So, if I am reading this right, you want to pirate your friends software and upgrade your ECU for free. Is this correct?

yea dude spend 500 and get one used... seriously illegal and it wont work

the accessport marries to the ecu it takes about 10 minutes to attach itself to that ecu... when reflashing basemaps or realtime maps it will only take 3min or less on the car it is married to... and it may try and reflash yours but it will most likely not do it cause it wont be able to communicate with your ecu, thusly it will either try and fry itself or your ecu...

i was going to buy one regardless. just in the meantime we were wondering if would work. i was going to buy one now but i ran into some financial obstacles so. thanks for the comments i appreciate it. just an idea to be thrown out there. i dont think cobb would let something that simple get by them so, they're too good to mess up on something that easy
