Normal freeway driving to and from work. Apparently, it's a problem prevalent in the 04 STi's. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=240475

also 3 struts

Hey I am glad that I am not the only one with this problem. I am going in for the third time on my left side and the right has already been done. you would think they would do something to stop this?

As long as they keep replacing them under waranty, you should be fine. Maybe they will be able to replace your struts with the 06 struts or something? Class action lawsuits usually get what you need but those take time and money :/

Tokico D-Spec's should last a long tine under normal use.

i just got back from putting on new tires on my '04 and the shop told me my left front strut is cracked. they also added it looks like it was cracked for a while. my car is no longer under warranty. they were saying this is common in imprezas. you would think subaru would do a recall on this.
