Is This A Good Price???

Hey guys,

I wanted to know if this is a good price for this car:

 2004 Subaru WRX.
 39,750 miles.
 Excellent condition.
 Rear wing w/ heated seats.
 Moonroof/Sunroof.
 Factory BBS option with brand new Falken tires that come with road Hazard warranty.
 25mm Cobb sways Front and Rear
 APS TBE
 Cobb Access Port
 $375 Ceramic Tint job w/Lifetime warranty (Ceramic doesn't block your radar detector, cell phone or radio antenna in the back windshield.)
 MOMO Shift ****

This car is adult driven never raced, only spirited driving. What do you think?

i got my wrb 04 for $18,700 with 21k on the odometer. stock in great condition with pretty much the same factory options you've got on there. don't pay extra for those mods unless you really like them. that's not a bad price but i would see if you can't drive it down a bit, 39k miles is kind of high for an 04..

just my $.02.

So I shouldn't pay for the mods? That's a lot of money in mods.

put it this way.
I bought my 04 WRX wagon, with added factory alarm for $22K from The Santa Cruz dealership. This was before title/reg/tax.

You should go to edmunds.com and see the True Market Value (TMV).

I looked it up, and the car is worth about $17.5-$18K without mods. add $1000 for the wheels, minus $200 if he can not give you the stock wheels too.
APS TBE is expensive, around $800-$1,000 new.
Cobb AP is worth about $500-$550.
Looks like a Cobb rear sway bar, check if he has the front and rear. That is about $300 used, maybe less.

They are the factory rims. BBS rims were an option on that model for $3300.00. And they are COBB Sway Bars front and rear. So is it worth it?

The going price on STi BBS wheels used is about $1000-$1500 with tires.

If you are adding MSRP and factory prices, those wheels alone would make the WRX cost almost as much as what people buy STis for.

Okay McDrama,

Thanks for your input. I think it's a good deal. I am still trying to talk him down to 19,999. Then it will definitely be a good deal.

it all depends on what you plan on doing to the car. The mods that are installed are high quality parts (APS, Cobb, BBS) and do cost a bit. If you plan on doing those mods, I think it is worth it.
If you just want a stock car, then no, it's not worth it.

Subaru's aren't hard to come by anywhere. This one is adult driven (I am pushing 40) It was professionally modded to cobb stage 2. Great condition and I am asking 19,995 or best offer.

All areas of the U.S. have different prices on Subaru's.
That car looks like a good deal.
I purchased my 04 WRX sedan stock in mint condition
with 5K miles for 22K and I am very pleased with the car
it makes a great DD.
