WTB: VIN number !!!

i'm looking for vin number plates to a 02 blue wrx. i live in ny, and according to NYSDMV i can not reg my car nor can i sell it untill 05/2005, just about a year. so was wondering if any had a wrecked wrx and if some one would sell me the vin plates. please if anyone has any info on where i might be able to get them. i cant go a year with out driving my baby.

it has a vin number.. but the one that is has now, i cant do anything with the car but have it sit in my drive way. so i need a new set of vin numbers so i can reg it.

Why can't you register your car with your VIN#'s for so long?

Pulling plates off another car is a big automotive no-no, you may get to register it for whatever reason you can't now, and you may get away with it. But then if a cop pulls you over and sees your vin plate in the window, and it has different bolts than the manufacturer put in, they are gonna go all out for GTA on you. Wait the year. Good Luck
