Why dealers treat adults better than kids

i wasn't meaning so much buying a car, i mean even just getting stuff fixed on the WRX i currently own. i would think since i have one of there cars, one of there better ones at that, that they would treat me better especially for return service, since you can get serviced at other dealerships.
i see your point on buying cars, but on just getting work done, its just not right that i have to get my dad involved to get results. and as far as playing hardball, i have definitely tried that. but no luck

The fact of the matter is that they have done the hard part. They sold you the car and got the money. The less they have to see you from there on out the happier that they will be. If this means that they have to lie to you every once and a while then so be it. I am not saying it is right at all but it is the nature of the beast. Basically its a game of who can stick it out longer you or them. They know a lot of people wont actually stick it out.
