I'm gonna buy a BOV, short shifter, and turbo timer tomarrow night and I wan to know what are the best ones on the market and why, I'm still undecided about which is the best. Right now, I'm looking at the HKS Super Sequential BOV, the Blitz DTT, and the Kartboy Short shifter with bushings. Can anyone give me difinitive proof as to why any of these products are better or worse than the other ones on the market? Thanks a lot

IMO-
Best BOV is the one you already have (ok, technically it's a bypass valve and not a BOV). Unless you absolutely must have that sound, leave the stock one on there and spend the money on something else that will actually help performance. A BOV will at best make noise (50/50) and at worst will probably hurt performance when shifting (100%VTA).
TT is a nice gadget but not needed if you just let the engine idle a bit after hard driving. The turbo is cooled by convection through the water jacket even after you shut the car down. Go for this one if you like toys.
Thumbs-up on the shifter and bushings. I have the STi shifter (factory option) with the bushings, the Kartboy is cheaper and will give similar results although the lever will be lower than the stock one. You may want to check out other cars with both before deciding.
Other opinions sure to follow-

I have to agree with Mulder.
Best BOV is the stock piece. I suggest that you do not replace it unless you absolutely have to. IMO, the only valid reason to replace it is the use of an FMIC.
Turbo timer is not needed. FHI designed and built in a very nice and clever way to cool down the turbo.
Kartboy is the way to go for a short shifter. That's the general sentiment on the different boards and the price is right. I have one and the bushings and love it.

But sound or not, no BOV is going to improve performance and some will make it worse.
Blitz Dual Turbo Timer:
Have it in my car. A good gadget to have. Displays boost, peak hold, laptime, and flashes red if you pass a set boost level. It has auto timer or manual timer. Plus its really small which allows you tom mount it anywhere.
If you want a loud BOV bet the HKS. I have one and its very noticeable.
