?? What is a GC8 ????

I have lived in a few countries that have WRX's but never have I heard of a GC8... What exactly is a GC8???

GC8 is the body code for the 1st gen WRX, like AE86 is the body code for a '85-'87 RWD Toyota Corolla GTS

GC8 is used here for the '93-'01 Impreza to differenciate it from the new body style Imprezas

Now, see we doo learn something new every day. My dad lives in Australia and has a 1998 WRX, I don't think that he even knows that... Then again, he's not that into tuning.... Those were my favorite years of WRX's.... They just look mean as hell!!!!
