Word from Subaru is that the WR stood obviously wor World Rally and the X was just added because it sounded good

well i hate to say it, but one of the subaru commercials even said it stood for World Rally eXtreme which is really gay. World Rally Cross is probably what it was meant to mean, but subaru advertises it as eXtreme, which i really corny, i think!

Really? I heard the official Subaru response was "World Rally X", the X not standing for anything. Maybe next time I talk to them (which has been way too often lately) I'll ask.
