what does WRX stand for?
does WRX stand for anything? like RS=Rally Sport? maybe WRX=World Rally Cross? I dont know, or is it just WRX....

Yep, everything official from Subaru I've heard of is, World Rally.

That is all, nothing for the X, just seems to be added on for the effect.

So overall, WRX as a whole = nothing

Actually, the word from Subaru is that WRX stands for World Rally Experiment. Then again it is just Subaru.

I always thought it was World Rally and the X being a designator for AWD.
Several car companies use, or have used, the X designator for AWD.

I've heard some things that they couldn't name it directly WRC cuz of regulations, so they just made it as close as possible
